Job Role:

As a Credit Officer at Alliance Finance Corporation Limited (AFCL), you will be an integral part of the Credit Department, responsible for ensuring smooth credit operations within the AFCL-Credit division.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with applicants to gather information for loan applications and provide guidance on the application process.
• Educate customers about the range of available loan and credit options, along with their associated terms.
• Compile essential financial documents, including credit histories and corporate financial statements, from loan applicants.
• Maintain and update credit and loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Thoroughly review loan agreements to ensure compliance with established policies.
• Stay informed about emerging loan types and financial products to better cater to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with credit analysts for application verification and recommendations.
• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, striving for resolution.
• Promote AFCL's financial products to individuals and businesses to fulfill their diverse needs.
• Prepare daily reports and ensure timely updates.
• Facilitate the reporting of delinquencies to credit bureaus.

Desired Qualities:

• Demonstrated expertise in credit management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Familiarity with retail finance principles.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance.

Experience:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in credit management.

Competencies:

• Skilled in building and nurturing relationships.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in credit management practices.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to: Credit Manager
• Oversees: Back Office team

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Banking or Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs).
